Joining Our Program

How do I register as a new member?

From our website, please click on the red “Register Online” button. You will then see a list of classes. If it says “Register” in blue next to the class day and time you would like, that means the class has availability and you may enroll your child in it. If you do not see “Register” next to the class, then the class is currently full.

How do I know what classes are available?

When you click on the red “Register Online” button, you will then see a list of classes. If it says “Register” in blue next to the class day and time you would like, that means the class has availability and you may enroll your child in it. If you do not see “Register” next to the class, then the class is currently full.

What class should I start my child in?

Our 3-4 year-old classes and our 4-5 year-old classes are based strictly on age. If your child is in kindergarten (5 years-old) and up, then classes are based on skill. If your child has little to no experience, we suggest the Beginner 1 class. If you feel your child is more advanced, and should start in a higher level, please email our office at office@texasbestgymnastics.com so we can assess skills and determine the best class for your child. Gymnasts may move up to higher levels as soon as the necessary skills are achieved. This time frame varies per child.

Do you offer free trials?

We do not offer free trial classes. We want to ensure the children already enrolled have a good experience in every class, and children coming just for trials can disrupt that. If you would like to sign up for a class, we do not require you to sign a contract or a long term commitment and we only require a two-week cancellation notice. You are financially responsible for the two weeks after you give us your written notification.

Do you have a waitlist for classes that are currently full?

We do not have a waitlist. You are welcome to keep checking the website for availability, or you may choose a different day and time and then possibly move into your preferred class spots become available.

Do you pro-rate tuition?

Yes. If you register mid-month, the system will automatically prorate the tuition to reflect the appropriate charge for registering mid-month.

When will I be charged?

Tuition is charged on the 1st day of every month on the primary card indicated on your account.

I have just signed up, but when does my child start?

The system will assume your child will be starting the next day and time your class is held. For example:  If you sign up on a Thursday for a Friday class time, we will assume you are starting the next day unless you notify us that you’d like your start date pushed out.  We will not allow start dates more than 2 weeks after sign-up. For a later start date, please wait to register your child.

Do you have classes for boys?

We do not offer boys-only classes, and we do not have a boy’s competitive team. Boys are welcome to join our Tumbling Class if they are of school age, or our preschool age-based classes (3-5 years-old).

Do you offer homeschool classes?

Unfortunately, we do not offer specific homeschool classes.

Making Changes to Classes

How do I add a class?

If you would like to add a class, please log in to your Parent Portal. You will be able to register your gymnast for additional classes from there.

How do I change classes?

You will not be able to change classes through the Parent Portal. If you’d like to change your gymnast’s day or time, please contact us at office@texasbestgymnastics.com and we can assist you. If you are in your Parent Portal account and see the day and time available that you would like, you can register them in the additional class to hold your spot and then call or email us to drop them from their previous class.

When will my child move up levels?

Our classes are based on skills acquired. As soon as your child achieves the skills to move up, the coach will let the gymnast and parent know to contact the office regarding a class change. If you feel your child should move up and you have not been contacted, please feel free to speak with your child’s coach after practice. Our coaches will be able to tell you what your gymnast is still needing to work on prior to moving up. Our office also has a list of skills needed to move up that we can provide to you upon request.

Parent Portal and Charges

I forgot my username and password for the Parent Portal.

Your username is the email address you originally used when you registered. If you have forgotten your password, please click the “Reset Password” open under the sign-in button, and instructions will be emailed to you. If you are still unable to sign in or you need to change your email address, please contact us at office@texasbestgymnsatics.com.

Why can’t I log in?

If you were a previous member and have not been with us for a more than 3 months, your account may have been de-activated. Please email us at office@texasbestgymnastics.com so we can re-activate it.

How do I change my card on file?

If you would like to change your card on file, you may do so from your Parent Portal. You may update, delete, or add cards as you wish. The card you indicate as your “primary” card is the card to which monthly tuition will be charged.

Leaving Our Programs

How do I withdraw or cancel my membership?

We require a two-week written notice to withdraw; this is included in the info you sign when registering your gymnast. Please email us at office@texasbestgymnastics.com with your gymnast’s name and the last day they wish to attend. Please note if they decide not to come during the two-week notice period, you will still be financially responsible for those days.

If you are enrolled in our After-School Care or Team programs, we require a 30-day notice.

Can I put my account on hold?

We do not freeze accounts. You will need to withdraw your gymnast and re-register when they are ready to return. If you have special circumstance such as injury, please email us and we will address that on a case-by-case basis.

Joining Our Competitive Team

How do gymnasts join your competitive team program

Our competitive team is by invitation only; our recreational class coaches monitor classes for athletes they feel would be a good fit for our teams. If your child is already a gymnast at another gym, and you are interested in scheduling a tryout, please contact the gym office at office@texasbestgymnastics.com.
